Martin Parr might have 1300 members in his Flickr group, but I’ll always have mom:

  1. However, the ‘Cute Kittens’ and ‘Puppy Love’ groups are even more popular than Parr’s.

I don’t know what to think about that.

  9. HA! Mom’s are the besy.
And they deserve to be called everyday.

  10. “Quite often people will add a comment to my photos saying “very Martin Parr”. Well I love his work and I know a lot of you do too. So if you have an image that you think could have been taken by the man himself then this is the place to post it. “
via the Flickr Parr group intro.

I’d be curious to know how Mr. Parr might feel about his Flickr fan base…

I don’t quite know what to think about it, but thinking about it is somewhat interesting.

  12. To see Charles with “Charles”, makes me recall when if first saw “Charles” and thought that is THE photograph. Would we have all this without those model planes, the jumpsuit, the fogged ey-glasses, the balaclava…?
